Have you ever felt depressed, a sense of an empty life? Here is my personal piece of advice to live a happier life through everyday details
- The most effective prescription against depression is called "occupation" I always remember that old saying: "busy hands, happy heart" and it is in fact really efficient. If you don't have a hobby or a special interest besides work or your daily routine, find one, your options are unlimited, from sports, or any type of excersice to cooking, music, gardening, reading, art, crafts, collecting items, etc. Nowadays the TV is a big contribution to help one keep busy with a favorite hobby. We don't need to pay to go to school in order to learn something new, there are hundreds of TV shows with special interest topics such as yoga or aerobics, cooking lessons, gardening, and many more.
- Set yourself a goal, get involved in small projects, there is not bigger happiness than the satisfaction of seeing your goals accomplished.
- Try the best you can to keep your house spotless and indulge yourself with fresh flowers all the time, they always give a cozy, elegant and beautiful touch to your home, sometimes we really tire of taking care of the house, but trust me, the cleanest it is, the better the feeling, add a nice scent to every room and make sure there is always plenty of light and always remember it doesn’t matter what your hobby is, just make sure you don’t harm anyone with it. Do it with passion and you will see your depression disappear.
